Are you thinking about starting a private psychiatry practice?

Hospital-based or community-based psychiatry isn’t as fulfilling as you thought it would be. You know that most of the time, 20 minutes isn’t long enough for a follow up visit. You’re getting paid the most you ever have but it still feels like it’s not enough. You know a part-time or full-time private practice is the way to more freedom. And you’re right!

These were the exact thoughts that I had as I was preparing to start my practice. I knew I wanted to provide patients with the time they deserved and I wanted to combine the power of psychotherapy with psychopharmacology. I wanted the freedom to practice in my own unique way and to earn a good living.

I cobbled together mentors and advisors to get my practice off the ground but it would have been helpful to have a knowledgeable guide, and resources, and a supportive community of peers.

Over the past few years, I have had the privilege of providing support and guidance to several psychiatrists as they launch their practices. Witnessing their growth and success has been incredibly rewarding. Now, I'm excited to extend this support to more psychiatrists through a comprehensive 12-week group program.

Join this supportive community and gain the insights, tools, and confidence you need to start a thriving private practice. Together, we will navigate the challenges and celebrate the milestones.

Who is this 12 week group for?

  • You are a woman or woman-identified psychiatrist (MD or DO).

  • You're thinking about launching a practice but it seems daunting. You’re not sure where to start.

  • You are within the first 6 months of starting your practice and could use some help.

  • You want to know the basics so that you can get going!

Why choose to be supported by me?

  • I started my practice when I was a second year Fellow in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. If I can do this while working full-time, so can you!

Investment

$1000/mo x 3 months*

You may ask yourself, how can I afford this? If you’re a moonlighter, it could be a few shifts.

Consider this. As a private practice psychiatrist you will earn on average $300,000 per year for the next 30 years. That is $9,000,000 over your career. Joining PsychRise amounts to a fraction of your total earnings. Incredible!

You will have access to resources that will serve you beyond the length of the program.

You will meet colleagues with similar passions who may become lifelong friends and colleagues.

This expense may be included as an expense for business education or psychotherapy.

I would love to be a support for you! Consider joining.

*Payments may be made in three installments. There are a few scholarships available. Your practice will certainly grow to accommodate this fee. In the meantime, please contact me if this fee is beyond your reach.

“We talked about EMR options, marketing, and opportunities for professional growth. It’s been good to stay connected and not feel alone while building a practice. Combating the isolation can be hard for a lot of us who are used to being in larger healthcare/academic settings.”
